1944 Teijin Seiki Co. Ltd. was incorporated under the name of Teijin Aircraft Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd. in Iwakuni City, Japan.
1945 The company's name was changed to Teijin Seiki Co. Ltd.
1955 Teijin Seiki commenced manufacturing of aircraft component. First Orders of spare, repair and overhaul for aircraft and engine components were awarded to Teijin Seiki from both Japanese aircraft manufacturers and Japan Defense Agency.
1971 Gifu Plan was established. (Presently Gifu No. 1 Plant)
1975 Teijin Seiki was awarded a contract from Cessna Aircraft Co. For the manufacturing of landing gear actuators.
1976 Overseas affiliate Teijin Seiki America, Inc. was established in state of Washington, U.S.A.
1976 Teijin Seiki was awarded contracts from the Boeing Co. for the manufacturing of B737 actuators and others.
1982 STS Corporation, a joint venture with Hamilton Sundstrand of U.S.A. was established.
1987 Teijin Seiki was awarded a contract from McDonnell Douglas (Presently The Boeing Co.) for Inboard and Outboard Elevator Actuators of MD-11 aircraft.
1991 Teijin Seiki was awarded contracts from the Boeing Co. for the B777 Primary Flight Control System (Fly-by-Wire Actuation System) as System Integrator.
1996 Boeing issues "President's Award of Excellence" to Teijin Seiki America and Teijin Seiki Co. LTD for 1995.
2003 Teijin Seiki Co. Ltd merged with Nabco Co. Ltd to form Nabtesco Corporation.
Teijin Seiki America Inc. changed its name to Nabtesco Aerospace, Inc
