Nabtesco Awarded 2013 Boeing Supplier of the Year

Nabtesco Corporation has been given the prestigious honor of being selected as 2013 Supplier of the Year by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Nabtesco (formerly Teijin Seiki) was last honored with this award in 1995 after winning the 777 Flight Control Actuation System (FCAS) contract.

Boeing [NYSE: BA] honors only 16 organizations with its Supplier of the Year Awards from more than 21,000 suppliers and partners around the world. The awards are based on meeting or exceeding quality, on-time delivery, post-delivery support and affordability goals, and demonstrating the ability to anticipate and respond to changing requirements.

Nabtesco has been working together with Boeing for more than 30 years to include Teijin Seiki period, supplying high quality and reliability FCAS and related products for various Airplane models to include 777 and 747-8. Nabtesco was awarded the contract for 737 MAX Fly-by-Wire Spoiler Actuator in 2013.

In order to support valued customers existing and future programs, Nabtesco will continue to challenge and develop its own unique production systems. In addition, Nabtesco is proactively trying to meet market needs together with Boeing as a risk-sharing partner for further growth of the Aerospace Industry.
